A sensory garden for children with autism for Freedom Primary School: help our neighbors in Nashik
Volunteers in Nashik are raising $600 for a sensory garden for children with autism at Freedom Primary School.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Freedom Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 472 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $600 goes:
• Materials: $450
• Permits and inspections: $25
• Safety equipment and signage: $70
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
Glad we found this place.
