Paolo's school year: uniform, books and a laptop

I earned a place in Year 11 at Manila Technical College, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $160, which is more than we have. I love graphic design and want to become an engineer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $160 goes: • Laptop: $80 • School uniform and shoes: $35 • Textbooks and workbooks: $40 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
