Volunteer day: Free Community Meal, Kingston
We're short of hands for the Free Community Meal; can you spare a morning?
🇯🇲 Kingston, Kingston, Jamaica657 views
Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 456 neighbors in Kingston. I help organize it with 9 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
