A sensory garden for children with autism: a volunteer-led effort in Vigo
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $3,100 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $3,100.
It will serve about 96 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Safety equipment and signage: $185
• Tools hire and delivery: $375
