My sister Ayu has been accepted for treatment at Surabaya Transplant Centre in Surabaya, starting on Tuesday in October. We live 364 km away in a village four hours away, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 5 weeks. Two of us would stay: Ayu and me. We can contribute $20 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Ayu will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Thanks for being kind about this.

Hope it all works out. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best.

    • Praying for you, Putri. Hope this works out for you. I hope December is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Surabaya.

      • Rooting for you, Putri. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Sukkur.
