A room near Kinondoni Transplant Centre for a family from a town in the north
A family from a town in the north needs lodging in Kinondoni while a child is treated.
🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania763 views
My brother Hamisi has been accepted for treatment at Kinondoni Transplant Centre in Kinondoni, starting on Sunday in July. We live 224 km away in a town in the north, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself.
We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 3 weeks. Two of us would stay: Hamisi and me. We can contribute $15 a week and cook for the household if you'd like.
Hamisi will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you.
Thank you so much.

Hope it all works out, Sarah. This could happen to any of us. After 6 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless
Rooting for you, Sarah. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick.
Hang in there. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too
Thinking of you and your family, Sarah. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Stay strong. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Sending love, Sarah. Hope the doctors have good news

Thinking of you and your family. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Buenos Aires.
So sorry you're going through this. Shared it with a few friends. Put this on a community board in Medellín this morning. Love from Medellín
Hope things get better soon, Sarah. I hope things turn around soon.
Hope things get better soon. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. After 20 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything!
