Gerhard is coming to Johannesburg Children's Hospital for 4 weeks of treatment and the family needs somewhere affordable to stay.

My son Gerhard has been accepted for treatment at Johannesburg Children's Hospital in Johannesburg, starting on Wednesday in September. We live 501 km away in a rural district, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself.
We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 4 weeks. Two of us would stay: Gerhard and me. We can contribute $30 a week and cook for the household if you'd like.
Gerhard will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you.
