A ride from Nairobi to the capital for Nakato's new job
A ride and a few boxes: that's all that stands between Nakato and a new job.
🇰🇪 Nairobi, Kenya345 views
I have been offered a job in the capital, starting on Thursday in November. I can't afford the bus and the 5 boxes I need to carry with me, and moving costs are beyond my means.
If you or someone you know is driving between Nairobi and the capital, I'd love to share the journey, and I can cover fuel. If you have a van and a free day, even better.
I'm a good conversationalist but happy to be quiet. I have a reference from my last employer and from the person I'll be renting from in the capital.
Thank you for reading my story.

Hang in there, Nakato. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money!
Thinking of you. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Please keep us posted
stay strong, Nakato. I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 24 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
Hope it all works out, Nakato. This could happen to any of us. Love from Adama.
Sending strength, Nakato. Looking forward to the next update.
Best of luck, Nakato. This could happen to any of us. Thinking of Nairobi.
hang in there, Nakato. Shared it with a few friends. After 22 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
