Ariana's Hodgkin lymphoma treatment fund
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Austin Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Ariana was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in May. The oncology team at Austin Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Ariana is 47, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Austin Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $11,950 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,250
• Scans and lab work: $1,550
• Transport to Austin Cancer Centre: $790
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $320
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,040
