A community-led a repair café workshop at the Sycamore health centre yard that will serve 436 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $3,650.
It will serve about 436 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $3,650 goes:
• Materials: $2,550
• Permits and inspections: $370
• Safety equipment and signage: $240
• Tools hire and delivery: $490
