A rainwater harvesting system for Baobab Park: help our neighbors in Warsaw
A community-led a rainwater harvesting system at Baobab Park that will serve 346 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Park, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $270, and the remaining cost is $1,000.
It will serve about 346 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Tools hire and delivery: $175
• Materials: $730
• Permits and inspections: $95
