A rainwater harvesting system: a volunteer-led effort in Los Angeles
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $2,200 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $2,200.
It will serve about 193 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
