Ogbomosho
I live with cerebral palsy. My occupational therapist at the Ogbomosho Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $450. My current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment I could attend work interviews. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $450 goes: • prosthetic leg: $350 • Fitting and training sessions: $30 • Delivery and set-up: $10 • First-year servicing plan: $60 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Ibrahim
