A prosthetic leg for Bilal: help me move freely
Bilal needs a prosthetic leg that the health system won't fund; the cost is $600.

I live with an amputation below the knee. My occupational therapist at the Multan Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $600.
My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $600 goes:
• prosthetic leg: $540
• Fitting and training sessions: $20
• Delivery and set-up: $15
• First-year servicing plan: $25
If you're reading this, thank you.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Bilal
Sure. The biggest one is prosthetic leg, $540. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks, that means a lot.
Rooting for you. Looking forward to the next update. All the best.
Best of luck, Bilal. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My husband and I read this together. Thinking of Multan
Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
