A powered wheelchair for Sebastián: help Sebastián move freely
Help Sebastián get a powered wheelchair so He can get to the shops and visit friends.
🇦🇷 Argentina1,237 views
Sebastián lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at Buenos Aires General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,800.
His current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Sebastián could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• powered wheelchair: $1,650
• Fitting and training sessions: $55
• Delivery and set-up: $30
• First-year servicing plan: $65
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Stay strong. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Sent it to 39 people at work. Thinking of Buenos Aires.
good luck, Tomás. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings
hope things get better soon, Tomás. I hope things turn around soon.
