Rina lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Siliguri Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $700. Her current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks. With the right equipment Rina could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
