A powered wheelchair for Hyun-jun: help Hyun-jun move freely
Help Hyun-jun get a powered wheelchair so He can join the school sports day.
🇰🇷 Busan, Busan, South Korea526 views
Hyun-jun lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Busan Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,600.
His current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Hyun-jun could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• powered wheelchair: $1,300
• Fitting and training sessions: $130
• Delivery and set-up: $50
• First-year servicing plan: $120
Every share and every dollar helps.
