A powered wheelchair for Aria: help me move freely
A powered wheelchair would give Aria independence - we're $8,950 away.

I live with multiple sclerosis. My occupational therapist at the Fresno Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $8,950.
My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment I could speak with the people around her. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $8,950 goes:
• powered wheelchair: $8,250
• Fitting and training sessions: $280
• Delivery and set-up: $95
• First-year servicing plan: $325
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
