Aleksandra lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Radom Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,350. Her current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 4 weeks. With the right equipment Aleksandra could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $2,350 goes: • powered wheelchair: $2,150 • Fitting and training sessions: $120 • Delivery and set-up: $35 • First-year servicing plan: $45 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Adam

Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about powered wheelchair, advice is welcome too. I'll keep the page updated.

  • I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to Entebbe so I could bring a meal. Take care.
