My sister Mavis has been accepted for treatment at Accra Transplant Centre in Accra, starting on Thursday in February. We live 450 km away in a village four hours away, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 3 weeks. Two of us would stay: Mavis and me. We can contribute $20 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Mavis will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Thanks for being kind about this.

  • Take care, Abena. Shared this with my family.

    • Keep going. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My neighbor in Shinjuku donated after I showed her your page. Blessings

      • Best of luck, Abena. Hope the doctors have good news. God bless.

        • Thinking of you and your family. Get well soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Thiruvananthapuram
