Lucky needs a pair of hearing aids that the health system won't fund; the cost is $900.

Lucky lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at Lagos General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $900.
His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment Lucky could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $900 goes:
• pair of hearing aids: $780
• Fitting and training sessions: $20
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $75
