A licensed roofer to fix a dangerous fault at Abril's home in San Diego
Abril has faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning, and can't afford a licensed roofer to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In August an inspector told me that my home has faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning. It's a safety risk for me and my three children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $2,900 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed roofer who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $80.
The job should take about eight hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a roofer and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

You're not alone. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of San Diego.
Sending strength, Abril. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better!
