In August an inspector told me that my home has dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms. It's a safety risk for me and my newborn. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $210 are beyond us. I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $10. The job should take about six hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request. If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

  • Sending good thoughts, Ifeoma. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best.

    • Thinking of you, Ifeoma. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Take care

      • A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Lagos
