Emergency vet bill for Ginger in Abbottabad
A tabby kitten named Ginger needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $300 bill the family cannot cover.

Ginger is my tabby kitten of three years. On 31 August we rushed to Abbottabad Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $300.
They have stabilized Ginger, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Ginger is more than a pet - Ginger is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $35 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Abbottabad Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ginger's recovery.
Where the $300 goes:
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $75
• Emergency surgery: $210
• Medication and follow-up visits: $15
