I look after my husband and work early shifts. I'm looking for someone patient to sit with Shankar on weekday afternoons.

I'm Sudha, and I look after my husband at home in Mysuru. Shankar has poor mobility after a hip operation and should not be alone for long stretches. I work early shifts, and the gap on weekday afternoons is the hardest part of my week.
What I need is someone calm and reliable to be in the house from about 1pm until 6pm. Mostly that means company, a cup of tea, lunch and a short walk if the weather is kind. No lifting and no medical care.
Shankar loves his allotment and will talk your ear off about it. I'm home before dark and will always leave the phone numbers of the doctor and a neighbor.
I'd like to meet you first with Shankar present, and I'm happy to give a reference from our doctor's office. If you have done care work before, wonderful, but kindness matters more.
