A free library and reading room for Liberty Primary School: help our neighbors in Makati
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a free library and reading room - we need $150 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $150.
It will serve about 121 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $150 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
• Tools hire and delivery: $40
• Permits and inspections: $60
