A few hours of disability-rights advocate time could save Adrian's home
Looking for a pro bono disability-rights advocate in New York for a case with a deadline in September.

I'm facing a custody dispute, with a hearing on September. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified disability-rights advocate licensed in New York who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Rochester or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Duluth.
good luck, Adrian. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Rochester
