Taguig
For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty community hall, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $700. It will serve about 442 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $700 goes: • Materials: $580 • Permits and inspections: $25 • Safety equipment and signage: $25 • Tools hire and delivery: $70 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  2. Update from Taguig: the plan for tools hire and delivery is now scheduled. We're at 30% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  3. Thank you all. We're at 15% now ($107). I'm honestly stunned. we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.
