A community garden for the Maple health centre yard: help our neighbors in Mumbai
Volunteers in Mumbai are raising $400 for a community garden at the Maple health centre yard.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $400.
It will serve about 162 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $70
