A community garden for Acacia Park: help our neighbors in Mar del Plata
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $1,200 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Park, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $1,200.
It will serve about 96 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

More neighborhoods should do this. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care.
