A community fridge for Unity Park: help our neighbors in Cebu City

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Unity Park, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $450. It will serve about 380 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $450 goes: • Materials: $230 • Permits and inspections: $60 • Safety equipment and signage: $65 • Tools hire and delivery: $95 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Ismael
