A community fridge for the Acacia community hall: help our neighbors in Tokyo
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $2,500 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Acacia community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,500.
It will serve about 132 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,500 goes:
• Materials: $1,800
• Permits and inspections: $115
• Safety equipment and signage: $350
• Tools hire and delivery: $235
