I live with cerebral palsy. My occupational therapist at Mar del Plata General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $200. My current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $200 goes: • First-year servicing plan: $90 • Delivery and set-up: $40 • Fitting and training sessions: $70 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it. - Paula

  • Hope it all works out, Paula. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Hobart.

    • rooting for you, Paula. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick!

      • Rooting for you, Paula. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.
