A college application mentor for Regina, first in the family to apply
Looking for a graduate who can spend an hour a week reviewing Regina's essays until July.

I'm Regina, 17, in Year 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study biomedical science.
I have a 3.7 average, I volunteer at my mosque and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until July. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.

sending good thoughts, Regina. Your post was clear and honest. God bless.
Thanks for sharing this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in Macon but we're thinking of you. Greetings from Macon.
Take care. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of San Jose.
