A cochlear implant processor upgrade for Svetlana: help Svetlana move freely
A cochlear implant processor upgrade would give Svetlana independence - we're $200 away.

Svetlana lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at Yekaterinburg General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $200.
Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Svetlana could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $200 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $60
• First-year servicing plan: $100
• Fitting and training sessions: $40
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
