Mukasa lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Dar es Salaam Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100. His current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment Mukasa could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $100 goes: • First-year servicing plan: $50 • Delivery and set-up: $30 • Fitting and training sessions: $20 With deep gratitude, Florence
