A braille note-taker for Sun-hee: help me move freely
A braille note-taker would give Sun-hee independence - we're $5,350 away.

I live with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. My occupational therapist at the Daegu Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,350.
My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $5,350 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $210
• braille note-taker: $5,000
• Delivery and set-up: $140
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Good luck. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My neighbor in Edinburgh donated after I showed her your page. All the best!
Hope it all works out, Sun-hee. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Iztapalapa.
