I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at the Poznań Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,300. My current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment I could attend work interviews. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $2,300 goes: • braille note-taker: $2,100 • First-year servicing plan: $115 • Fitting and training sessions: $85 Thank you so much.
