A braille note-taker for Kelly: help me move freely
Help Kelly get a braille note-taker so She can go outside without waiting for someone to push.

I live with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. My occupational therapist at the Rio de Janeiro Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,000.
My current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $100
• Delivery and set-up: $55
• braille note-taker: $1,845
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
