A braille note-taker for Haritha: help Haritha move freely
A braille note-taker would give Haritha independence - we're $550 away.
🇮🇳 India699 views
Haritha lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Aurangabad Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $550.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Haritha could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $550 goes:
• braille note-taker: $480
• First-year servicing plan: $40
• Delivery and set-up: $30
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
