A braille note-taker for Eliane: help Eliane move freely

A braille note-taker would give Eliane independence - we're $200 away.

Eliane lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the Santos Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $200. Her current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 4 weeks. With the right equipment Eliane could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $200 goes: • First-year servicing plan: $85 • Delivery and set-up: $45 • Fitting and training sessions: $70 Every share and every dollar helps.

    • thinking of you, Fábio. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best
