A braille note-taker for Divya: help me move freely
A braille note-taker would give Divya independence - we're $1,150 away.

I live with an amputation below the knee. My occupational therapist at the Salem Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,150.
My current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment I could speak with the people around her. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• braille note-taker: $1,100
• Fitting and training sessions: $20
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $10
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
