Zagazig
I coordinate donations at the Liberty Community Church in Zagazig. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Zagazig, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Liberty Community Church on Saturday between 11am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Liberty Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I hope life is good to you.

  • Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'll check back for the next update. Love from São Paulo.

Praying for you, Aisha. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.

      • Take care, Aisha. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon.

        • Best of luck. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best
