I coordinate donations at the Liberty Community Church in Anaheim. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Anaheim, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Liberty Community Church on Saturday between 11am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Liberty Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

sending strength, Landon. I hope things turn around soon. I have a 13 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Newcastle upon Tyne.
best of luck, Landon. Shared this with my family
Shared this with my family. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Kediri.
Sending strength, Landon. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We're a small family in Warangal but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Anaheim.
Thinking of you. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I have a 6 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
