I coordinate donations at Harmony Women's Shelter in Stockholm. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Stockholm, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Harmony Women's Shelter on Friday between 11am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Harmony Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thanks for sharing this. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. God bless
Sending good thoughts. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected!
Good luck. Your post was clear and honest. I have a 6 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best.
Wishing you the best, Eva. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Philadelphia
take care, Eva. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 22 years in social work I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Blessings
