I coordinate donations at Harmony Refugee Centre in Ikeja. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Ikeja, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Harmony Refugee Centre on Sunday between 9am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Harmony Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

  • Stay strong. Shared this with my family. After 14 years in engineering I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Blessings.

    • Praying for you, Henry. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Ikeja.

      • hope it all works out. I hope things turn around soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Latina

        • It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 24 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.

          • Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't give up. Love from Townsville.
