I coordinate donations at Cedar Refugee Centre in Quezon City. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Quezon City, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Cedar Refugee Centre on Saturday between 10am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Cedar Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Thinking of you, Kathleen. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Bordeaux
