I coordinate donations at the Lotus Mosque in Erie. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Erie, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Lotus Mosque on Wednesday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Lotus Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you so much.

You're not alone, Silas. Shared this with my family. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Kisumu.
Rooting for you, Silas. Shared it with a few friends. I'll check back for the next update.
