I coordinate donations at the Jacaranda Family Centre in Södertälje. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Södertälje, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Jacaranda Family Centre on Wednesday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Jacaranda Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you for reading my story.

Take care, Emil. Hope this works out for you. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care.
Thinking of you, Emil. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. After 8 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings!
Best of luck. This could happen to any of us. After 9 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything
Wishing you peace. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless
thinking of you and your family, Emil. Hope you get there. Thinking of Södertälje
