36 volunteers for the Seniors' Tea Afternoon in Sacramento
We're short of hands for the Seniors' Tea Afternoon; can you spare a morning?
🇺🇸 California, United States1,249 views
Every year the Seniors' Tea Afternoon brings together 499 neighbors in Sacramento. I help organize it with 7 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Hang in there. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from London
Hang in there, Nuria. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Put this on a community board in San Diego this morning
Wishing you peace, Nuria. Great idea, hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
This could happen to any of us. We're a small family in Guadalajara but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
